· Builds and validates cohorts using encounters, appointments, orders, results, medications, problem lists, diagnoses, procedures, immunizations, referrals, providers, locations, and clinical documentation.

· Works across approved Epic analytic assets, including Clarity, Caboodle, and relevant Cogito tools, and selects the appropriate source for detailed clinical analysis versus standardized reporting.

· Uses enterprise clinical repository and interoperability data, including appropriately governed FHIR, HL7, CCDA, terminology, and longitudinal clinical information, when required by the analytic question.

· Contributes to analyses linking EHR and claims data and documents differences in attribution, completeness, observability, and follow-up across sources.

· Collaborates with the Sr. BI Engineer to operationalize validated measures and analytic datasets in governed, automated reporting products.

· Follows patient privacy, research governance, security, access, and minimum-necessary requirements for clinical data.

· Proficiency in SQL and working proficiency in R, Python, SAS, or another statistical programming language.

· Experience developing clinical measures, dashboards, analytic datasets, cohorts, or outcome analyses.

· Working understanding of clinical workflows and the limitations of EHR-derived measures.

· Ability to collaborate with clinicians, informaticists, engineers, operations leaders, and business stakeholders.

· Experience with a clinical data repository, enterprise interoperability platform, or longitudinal patient record.

· Experience integrating EHR and claims data or contributing to abstracts, manuscripts, quality-improvement publications, or research collaborations.

· Experience with Tableau, Power BI, Strategy, or Epic-native reporting tools.
