Clinical – Medical Assistant

– Check in patients and manage appointment flow efficiently – Answer phones and handle patient inquiries with professionalism – Gather current insurance information, collect copays, and ensure accurate billing details – Take vital signs and conduct basic clinical assessments – Enter all necessary patient information into electronic medical records (EMR) – Prepare patient charts for upcoming appointments and ensure documentation accuracy – Assist with front desk duties, including making patient room assignments and coordinating schedules – Support clinical staff with entry-level medical tasks and patient flow management

– Basic understanding of medical assisting practices and patient care procedures – Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems – Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor – Ability to accurately gather and document patient information – Basic clinical skills such as taking vital signs – Organized and detail-oriented approach to administrative and clinical tasks

– High school diploma or equivalent; training will be provided for the right candidate – Prior experience in a healthcare front desk or medical assisting role preferred but not required – Ability to work flexible hours between 8:30 am and 5:00 pm – Willingness to train as a Medical Assistant or front desk staff in a fast-paced environment – Schedule options include temporary assignments with the potential for full-time placement based on performance and fit – Valid CPR certification and other relevant healthcare certifications are a plus but not mandatory
